Sseko Designs :: Beatrice

It is with seriously great pleasure that I share some of my proudest work recently completed for the incredible impact-driven brand that is Sseko Designs. Sseko makes beautiful, sustainable, handcrafted apparel, shoes, and accessories. The young women that work for Sseko in the nine-month gap between secondary school and university save part of their income for university and Sseko matches their savings 300%.

I was honored to be asked to travel with this company on their annual trip to visit their coworkers in Uganda this April. There we caught up with a few of the incredibly strong, intelligent, and charismatic women that have attended University despite financial and circumstantial odds and thanks in part to Sseko’s incredible program.
